Reboot time

It has been a strange 6 weeks.  It started with my Birthday at the end of August, then it seemed we had something to do, somewhere to go, someone to see every week and I ended up not really been tracking my intake and this of course resulted in taking in more carbs than I would usually do.

The impact of the past few weeks has been less on my weight, more on my mindfulness.  My weight increased by 5lb, then dropped again, then up, then down.  At the moment I am around 3lb more than my pre-Birthday weight.

In terms of mindfulness, I found myself getting increasingly apathetic, getting more and more lazy – a general inability to focus on any given task unless it was something I really was interested in doing.  I started about 6 different blog posts, but lost interest after a few minutes, hence being quiet on here.

Well, no more, I have decided that yesterday was the day to reboot, get back into the swing of things.  Trying to stick to under 40g carbs a day and hopefully by mid-Oct I will be back in the zone.
